Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Proclaiming the good news with love, clarity, and boldness, so that all may know Him and receive salvation.
Guided by our vision to spread the Gospel to every corner of the world and raise children who can preach to every nation. (Matthew 28:19; Deuteronomy 6:4–8)
Our mission statement is the heartbeat of Melbourne Chin Church — a seven-fold commitment that shapes every ministry, every gathering, and every act of service. Rooted in Scripture and the heritage of the Chin people, these purposes flow from our love for Christ, our care for one another, and our responsibility to the world around us.
Seven commitments from the MCC Constitution (Chapter 4) that shape our life together as a church.
Proclaiming the good news with love, clarity, and boldness, so that all may know Him and receive salvation.
Reaching beyond our walls into Melbourne, Chin State, and the nations with the transforming message of Christ.
Nurturing whole-life wellbeing — growing members physically, mentally, and spiritually so every person can flourish in Christ.
Providing practical help, compassionate care, and the sustaining love of the church family to those facing hardship.
Grounding our community in Scripture, discipleship, and the wisdom of God's Word.
Respecting, preserving, and protecting Chin culture, language, and literature — the heritage God has woven into our identity.
Walking together with other churches in unity, mutual encouragement, and partnership for the glory of God.
“We will spread the Gospel of Christ to every corner of the world, and we will raise children who can preach the Gospel to every nation.”Matthew 28:19 & Deuteronomy 6:4–8 — MCC Vision Statement
MCC operates a structured Mission Field in Paletwa Township, Chin State, Myanmar. Each missionary is stationed individually in a village where no Christian church currently exists. Our objectives for every field station are:

Spearhead mission fundraising and educate the congregation on missional responsibilities.
Draft and finalise the comprehensive Mission Field financial budget annually.
Ensure salaries for the Field Director and Missionaries are disbursed punctually.
Procure and ship necessary equipment required for mission stations.
Arrange secure living quarters for the Field Director.
Support the Field Director in finding required specialised training courses.
Provide necessary assistance to foster the physical, mental, and spiritual growth of new converts.
Maintain forward-looking visions and evaluate creative methods to ensure the mission field thrives.
